Hi, friend!

I’m glad you’re here.

Before we get into the details, I want you to know that I already believe you’re amazing, whole, and fully capable of living a life you love.

I also believe that crafting a life that’s truly yours within systems that treat you like a number and tell you to pull yourself up by your bootstraps is challenging AF.

You can’t do it alone. None of us can.

That’s where arts & crafts-based coaching and consulting comes in.

When you feel (or know how to return to feeling) centered, connected, grounded, and whole, you’re able to to choose a life aligned with your values.

Whether you’re looking to get unstuck, need a life hack to make the art you’re here to make, or wish life had a do-over button, you’ve come to the right place.

Craft a Life You’re Proud Of

An embodied arts & crafts-based approach to coaching and consulting can have a wide range of benefits, including:

  • Decreased stress
  • Enhanced quality of life
  • Improved concentration, memory, and problem solving
  • Increased self-awareness
  • Lower pain levels
  • Stronger relationships with yourself and others

Building an art or craft practice is a great way to recenter and connect to consistent meaning, purpose, and structure when life feels overwhelming, confusing, trivial, or chaotic.

Plus, creating things can give you a natural boost of dopamine that encourages you to come back!

You don’t have to be an artist or have any training in arts or crafts to get the benefits.

Doodling, building a model, singing in the shower, and visiting a museum all count!

Have a craft you love or a project you’ve been dreaming about?

Why Start Now?

The pandemic and recent political shifts targeting LGBTQIA+ folks like me, made me reevaluate my relationships with care and my roles as an artist and healthcare provider.

Although I believe a lot of good can come from traditional healthcare provider-client relationships and enjoy working as a clinician, I felt a need and desire to also use my skills for collaborative, collective care outside of the medical model.

If you’re reevaluating your relationship to self-care or care for others, reconnecting to the core of who you are, or need a new perspective to solve an old problem, why not now?

You don’t need a lot of spoons, a clear roadmap, or a closet full of art supplies to get started. All you need is to show up today and come back again tomorrow.
